Karen Langham
Accounting Director
Karen Langham joined the NCGOP staff in April 1998 as the Accounting Director. Her responsibilities include financial statements, budget analyses, human resources and campaign reports filed with the Federal Election Commission and State Board of Elections. She has held positions as an accountant, financial analyst, and internal auditor for various oil companies throughout the United States.
Karen is a graduate of Whittier College, Whittier, California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She also completed management courses at the University of California, Irvine.
Karen and her husband, Bob, have been married for 36 years and have lived in California, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, and Michigan. Bob is the Marketing Manager for Frontier Energy in Elkin, NC and is a Vietnam veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.
Karen and her family moved to Raleigh in 1996. Their oldest daughter, Melissa, is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Textiles. She is currently enrolled in the Nursing Program at Wake Tech and works as a Nurse Assistant at Wake Med Hospital. Their youngest daughter, Lindsey, graduated from Florida State University College of Music with a degree in Music and Vocal Performance. She is currently employed at the corporate headquarters of FedEx Kinko’s in Dallas, Texas.

Chris McClure
Executive Director
Chris McClure joined the NCGOP on Oct. 1, 2007 as the Chief of Staff. Prior to joining the staff of the NCGOP, he served as Finance Director of McHenry for Congress. Prior to joining the McHenry team, he served on the staff of the NCGOP, first as House Campaign Director, then as Executive Director of the Victory 2006 program. Chris also served as Political Director for the Cobey for Governor Campaign and the Joe Knott for Attorney General Campaign. He has worked as the Coordinator of Communications and Government Relations for the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA). Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science in 2002. He is originally from Clyde, NC where his family still resides.

Brent Woodcox
Communications Director
Brent joined the NCGOP staff in June of 2007. He is a 2007 graduate of Duke University School of Law and obtained his degree with honors from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2004. During his time at Carolina, Brent served as both the President of the Baptist Student Union as well as the President of Chi Alpha Omega fraternity.
Brent was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky but has adopted the Triangle area as his home for the past 6 years. He has formerly worked as an intern with Justice Paul Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court. In addition to his time there, he also previously served as an intern on the 2004 gubernatorial campaign of former NCGOP Chairman Bill Cobey.

M. Jillian DeCamp
Political Director
Jillian is a Graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Political Science and a Minor in Business Management. She has been working with the NCGOP since July of 2005. She began as an intern for the fall semester and joined the staff as the part time Accounting Assistant. Jillian currently works closely with the County Chairmen, coordinates Executive Committee meetings, and manages the 5 Star Program.
Jillian was born and raised in New Bern, NC, where her parents and sister still reside. At North Carolina State University, Jillian was a sister of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega where she previously served on the executive board as Treasurer. She also served as an Ambassador to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences by giving tours, meeting with parents and future students, and working at/participating in many events for the college. Her long term goals include attending law school.

Ladd Lesh
Member Relations Director
Ladd joined the NCGOP in February of 2008. A graduate of Grove City College in Political Science and History, Ladd served on the state house campaign of Hal Jordan during the 2006 election. In the fall of 2006, Ladd attended the Witherspoon Fellowship program in Washington D.C. and then served as Legislative Assistant for Congressman Joe Pitts (PA-16) on Capitol Hill.
Ladd was raised in Charlotte, NC where his parents and siblings still reside. He currently serves as President of the John Witherspoon Society and is engaged to be married in June to April, an Onslow County native.

Todd Batchelor
Finance Director
Todd Batchelor joined the NCGOP staff in August of 2006. As Finance Director, Todd’s responsibilities include directing and managing fundraising activities via direct mail and telemarketing. Todd also coordinates the Chairman’s Advisory Board, Team North Carolina, and Club GOP major donor programs, plans party functions and events, tracks daily deposits and works closely with the Accounting Director to ensure compliance with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and State Board of Elections (SBOE).
Prior to his arrival at NCGOP, Todd was the 2004 Republican nominee of North Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District. A native of Raleigh, Todd served in the U.S. Navy from 1989 to 1993, received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UNC-Wilmington in 1996, worked as a Bid Administrator for a national correctional supplier, is a former precinct chairman, and functioned as President of the Holly Springs Kiwanis Club.

Wanda Shivers
Receptionist
Wanda Shivers joined the NCGOP staff in September 2001. She previously volunteered during the 2000 election. A life-long Republican, she attended Memphis State University.
Over the years, she has been a volunteer at her childrens' schools, serving on PTA boards in Wake County at Stough Elementary, Martin Middle School, Enloe High School, and Broughton High School. She has previously volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Girl Scouts of America.
Wanda and her husband Dutch have been married for 30 years. They moved to Raleigh from their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Dutch is a Software Consultant ,and a Vietnam veteran. He was an Army Ranger,serving with Special Forces while assigned to the 1st Psy’ops in Saigon.
Wanda and Dutch have four children they are very proud of. John, Jennifer, Erika and Jacob. John lives in Memphis and Jennifer, Erika and Jacob live in Raleigh.
